LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MYSELF
A dream is never
just a dream
I learned to believe in love as a child, thanks to Walt Disney.
Well, one day I decided I needed to make a plan to achieve my dreams and started setting the goals I needed to reach. That’s how I began organizing weddings.
For years now, I’ve been working in the wedding industry: I started in 2016 as a photographer in my parents’ agency, but my dream has always been to dedicate myself to organizing events from A to Z.
“Choose a job you love, and you will never
work a day in your life”

To tell you who I am
I’m Giulia, I love events, fashion, dance, photography, and traveling. I was born and raised in Sansepolcro, a welcoming and picturesque town in Tuscany located on the border with Umbria. For 16 years, I danced to the notes of the most famous and delicate classical music pieces, and one of my greatest passions, besides events and dance, is traveling. In the past twelve years, I’ve visited countries around the world with my family, which has allowed me to build the greatest treasure I carry with me every day: the one from cultures different from mine and the wonderful and surprising people I’ve met over time.
Since I was a child, I’ve always loved beauty with all its details and nuances. During my childhood, I enjoyed planning fashion shows and little performances on the stairs at home to show my grandparents the new clothes my mom bought me or to preview some dance learned in the afternoon lessons. I spent entire days in my room with my beautiful Barbies, dressing them up for a ball or an imaginary party. I remember very well the joy when Santa Claus brought me the Bride Barbie I had asked for in my letter, which I still cherish today on its stand on the desk in my room.
I’ve always tried to keep things under control; my teachers sweetly called me the “Boss” of the class, and at every meeting, they would tell my parents with a smile how I couldn’t sit still and be quiet. I’ve never liked having nothing to do; my favorite days are those when I’m bounced from one place to another while the phone rings incessantly.
I started organizing events at the age of 18 when I was elected as the Student Representative of my school, and from that moment on, I never stopped. That year, I realized how much I loved the hustle and bustle of those moments and how gratifying it was to be among so many people, creating, talking, and solving problems: I decided that this had to be my path.
At the age of 19, I moved to Bologna and began my university career.
In 2016, just after graduating in Communication, I decided to continue pursuing my dream by moving to the beautiful city of Milan, where the Master’s in Fashion Event Management, which I was attending in Verona, allowed me to start working in spectacular and high-profile events like the Milan Fashion Week shows.
I’ve always loved fashion and adored working in these dazzling events, but over time I felt something was missing….
In 2017, I embarked on my final university journey with a Master’s in Marketing and Communication, specializing in Event Organization at the Catholic University of Milan, where I graduated with top honors…
..And about my experience
The path that guided me
During my university years, I also started working with my parents, owners of MGMPHOTOVIDEO, as a wedding photographer. I learned to experience a different kind of event than I was used to; an event that featured the joy of two people, beauty, attention to the smallest detail, flowers, lights, music, and Love.
And that’s where I realized what I was missing: happiness, emotion, the human and direct contact I established in those moments with the couples who needed me and my expertise in the field.
In 2019, I found a job at a beautiful and professional wedding planning agency in Milan, Confetti a Colazione. With Lucia, I learned to manage all the various stages of wedding planning and coordination and events in general. I worked and planned in beautiful locations throughout Italy, discovered extraordinary places, and suppliers capable of “performing magic.”
I have seen Love; not only of future married couples but the love for this profession. I have met teams of suppliers who together have made one of the most important days in two people’s lives perfect. I have seen wonderful things: colors, flowers, lights, and tables perfectly coordinated with each other. I have seen happiness in the eyes of the couples and their families. I have seen light setups that make you feel like you’re in a beautiful fairy tale.
But above all, I have seen and learned what I have always wanted to do.

The place where it all begins
Since I was a child, I have been enchanted by beauty and its details.
Bologna helped me grow, Verona helped me understand what I really wanted to do in my life, and Milan, well, Milan gave me the Strength; but my dreams were born and grew with me in a small town in Tuscany, in a house full of love with the magical Cinderella cartoon playing in the background.
That enchantment, that dress, and that “They lived happily ever after” made me fall in love with what is now the industry where my whole family works. And that’s why I decided to return Home.
And now, here I am, with not a few fears, putting myself to the test! I finally decided to open something of my own and pursue that dream I’ve carried with me since I was a child. That dream born on my living room couch, next to my Great-Grandmother, watching Cinderella. That dream inspired by the figure of the “Fairy Godmother” who, with her magic wand, made everything perfect without Cinderella lifting a finger. That dream, which finally, has become reality!
As soon as I embarked on my journey in Planning, I wrote this quote by Confucius that says: “Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life.” Well, I love my profession, I love those who put passion, heart, and energy into it with me.
Every wedding has its own identity, and I love living it and designing it with you.
